Hill Harper, award-winning actor, author and philanthropist

As part of the Black Student Union 51st anniversary celebration, join award-winning actor, best-selling author, entrepreneur and philanthropist Hill Harper for a lively evening of conversation, featuring a keynote speech, Q&A and book signing.

Hill Harper has starred in hit television series and films, including 鈥淐SI: NY,鈥 鈥淭he Good Doctor,鈥 鈥淗e Got Game鈥 and 鈥淟ackawanna Blues.鈥 He is the author of four New York Times bestsellers and has received seven NAACP Image Awards for writing and acting. Harper is the founder of the Manifest Your Destiny Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved youth. He also served on President Obama's Cancer Panel. Harper holds a master's degree and J.D. from Harvard Kennedy School of Government and Harvard Law School, respectively.

About the Lecture Series

Established by Barbara Esmer Hanson 鈥45 and Robert D. Hanson through the Foundation For Enhancing Communities to provide annual support for a lecture by a prominent national or international speaker. It is the intent that students from Gettysburg College, Robert鈥檚 alma mater, will travel to 91视频专区 for the lecture, and students from 91视频专区 College, Barbara鈥檚 alma mater, will travel to Gettysburg.
