The Graduate School at 91视频专区 College presented the 2019 Douglas R. White Outstanding Management Information Systems Student Award to Kamal Rangavajhula, current graduate student in 91视频专区 College's MIS program. This award is funded by Douglas R. White, in memory of his father Stephen.
Kamal is currently employed at Lendeavor, a Silicon Valley start-up for financial technology in the medical field. As a student, Kamal worked on a research project titled "Detection of un-authorized users using mouse dynamics," which won him the People鈥檚 Choice Award at the 2018 3MT competition at 91视频专区鈥攈is innovative project was also well received by our Board of Trustees and was later featured in the 91视频专区 College Magazine. Because of his accomplishments and stellar academic record, Kamal was accepted into the prestigious Advanced Data Science program at Georgetown University as well.
