Student Earns Scholarship Award for Summer Internship Project

Jared Tomlin, C’16, a Master of Science candidate in environmental biology, was presented with a scholarship award from Science Systems and Applications, Inc. at a recent event held at the NASA headquarters. He worked with NASA this summer on a project focused on ecological forecasting. This gives an overview of the project.
Jared is back at 91ÊÓƵרÇø to start work on his thesis, which will examine the effect of riparian zones on flooding in the Shenandoah Watershed.
