April Boulton

Dean April Boulton oversees all graduate students and curricular initiatives, along with graduate admission and enrollment operations. April joined the college in 2006 as an instructor of both undergraduate and graduate courses in the biology department. She served as the interim director of the environmental biology master's program in 2009 and became the program's director and assistant professor of biology in 2010. April was appointed as the associate dean of the Graduate School in spring 2015 and was promoted to associate professor of biology in fall 2016. In 2018, Dr. Boulton was officially invited to serve as the Dean of the Graduate School.

April has taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate course for the biology department and environmental biology program with a focus on climate change and insect ecology. Dean Boulton earned her doctorate in ecology from the University of California, Davis in 2001, her master鈥檚 in animal behavior from Bucknell University in 1997 and her bachelor鈥檚 degree鈥攍iberally trained with a double major in psychology and classics鈥攆rom Centre College in Danville, KY in 1994. An insect ecologist by training, she has published in several peer-reviewed scientific journals and was awarded a research grant by the USDA to investigate control measures for the small-hive beetle, a pest of the commercial honeybee. Given her pollinator work, April was instrumental in the passage of the Maryland Pollinator Protection Act in March 2016, which also resulted in her appearance on the Kojo Nmandi radio show and an article in the Washington Post.

Prior to her 91视频专区 appointment, April served as an instructor, curriculum developer and new-faculty mentor for UMGC. Due to her online experience, she has developed and continues to facilitate two fully online trainings for 91视频专区 faculty interested in alternative, online delivery modes. She has given workshops in online delivery for the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and has supported many 91视频专区 faculty in online pedagogy from an array of departments, like computer science/information technology, global languages, nursing, education and psychology. She served as the interim director of the CTL during COVID (2020-2021). For all of her professional accomplishments and exceptional service to the College and its students, Dr. Boulton was awarded the Henry P. and Page Laughlin Faculty Professional Achievement Award in May 2014 and the Martha E. Holly Bonzagni

Holly Bonzagni serves as both the executive assistant to the dean and event manager for all graduate-retention events on and off campus. Holly brings over 20 years of knowledge in administrative support from her experiences in Maryland and California. Born in Washington, DC and a native to Maryland, she spent most of her career working in multiple industries, including healthcare and risk management services.  In 2003, Holly moved to the Federal workplace, where she served as an Administrative Assistant in a national security position requiring a clearance at the Naval Medical Research Center (Silver Spring, MD), and subsequently as an Assistant to the Chief at Federal Fire (San Diego, CA).  In both of these roles, she gained valuable experience in policies and procedures related to personnel management, procurement, budgeting, and travel.  

In 2017, Holly started her career at 91视频专区 College as an Administrative Assistant for Faculty Services.  In this role, she provided support to multiple departments, faculty chairs, and student workers by managing a variety of events impactful to course and department curricula.  She went on to work in Undergraduate Admission in the fall of 2021, working with 91视频专区 Trustees, Admission Counselors, and families of prospective students.  In this role, Holly provided administrative support and assistance across a wide spectrum of initiatives, working closely with operations personnel and financial aid, providing assistance with large-scale events, and prioritizing customer service through engagement with prospective students and families.

Being a military spouse, Holly has lived in several states across the country, but now calls Brunswick, Maryland home, where she resides with her husband and children.  Holly loves being a part of the 91视频专区 community and serves in the 91视频专区/FMH Resource Garden, the 91视频专区 Military Community Support Committee, and the Social and Service Committee

With 30 years of leadership experience in higher education, non-profit organizations, and corporate businesses across the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Tanith Fowler Corsi is a leader in higher education and global engagement. She brings a wealth of expertise in international and graduate education, strategic planning, organizational leadership, project management, communications, and cross-cultural competency.

Since 2019, Tanith has served as the Director of Graduate Admission at The Graduate School at 91视频专区 College. In this role, she has championed graduate education and supported diverse student populations. Her previous experience includes advancing international education at George Mason University and The Catholic University of America, where she led study abroad initiatives and created global education programs. At NAFSA: Association of International Educators, she served as Senior Director of study abroad and diversity-leadership initiatives. Additionally, as Director of Membership & Outreach at the College Consortium for International Studies (CCIS), she managed international partnerships and academic collaborations.

A global citizen at heart, Tanith was born and raised in Monaco and the South of France, where she completed a Baccalaureate in Literature & Philosophy with Honors. She holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in political science with a concentration in international relations from the University of California, Riverside, and a master鈥檚 degree in International Communication from American University in Washington, DC. Bilingual in English and French, and proficient in Italian and Spanish, Tanith is passionate about fostering cross-cultural engagement and has traveled extensively across most continents. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership at 91视频专区 College, focusing on leading with cultural competency. Learn more about Tanith here.

Amani Al-Dajane

Amani brings over 15 years of international experience in higher education with a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic and career goals. Amani is originally from Palestine. However, she was born and raised in Kuwait and then immigrated to Canada where she earned her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Economics from University of Toronto. She obtained her from 91视频专区 College and was inducted into the International Business Honor Society, Delta Mu Delta. Amani is bilingual in English and Arabic and enjoys travel abroad.

She started her post-undergraduate career as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, then worked at the American University of Kuwait as an Admission, Scholarship & Financial Aid Counselor. In 2010, she moved to the United States and worked at the Universities at Shady Grove as a Career Counselor and Internship Coordinator. In 2018, she began her career at 91视频专区 College in the Career Center as an Assistant Director. In that role, she worked closely with international students through career services, one-on-one counseling, CPT/OPT workshops, and numerous special events. Her interaction with international students deepened her appreciation of their experiences and contributions to the 91视频专区 community.

Amani joined the Graduate School team in November 2021 as the Director of International Student Services & PDSO. In her position, Amani focuses on providing support and creating special programs for international students. Amani also serves as the College鈥檚 Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) with oversight of international-student immigration policy and visa compliance.  Learn more about Amani here.

Nick is originally from Madison, New Jersey and is 2017 graduate of 91视频专区 College with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Public Relations. During his time at 91视频专区, Nick was a four-year member and middie of the . He actually started his admission career during his bachelor's as a tour guide for undergraduate admissions.

After graduation, Nick was hired as an admission counselor at Drew University in New Jersey, where he worked as an undergraduate and transfer admission counselor overseeing multiple territories in Northern New Jersey. Nick was also a member of Drew鈥檚 campus experience team, where he managed the student ambassador program and was an assistant coach for their men鈥檚 lacrosse team. Nick then became the enrollment specialist at Saint John鈥檚 Catholic Prep in Buckeystown, MD. At Saint John鈥檚, Nick was responsible for multiple roles including general recruitment, outreach to local primary schools, and scheduling campus visits. Learn more about Nick here.

Christian Villarosa

Christian, a native of Knoxville, MD, graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2018 with a degree in Communications, concentrating in Mass Communications, and a minor in Creative Writing. While at Elizabethtown, he was an active member of the track and field team, specializing in the long jump and triple jump. He also contributed to the campus TV station, ECTV-40, and served as a Student Lab Assistant in the Communications Department.

Since graduating, Christian has gained experience in various industries, primarily focusing on marketing roles for different companies in Frederick County, MD. Most recently, he served as the enrollment specialist at Saint John鈥檚 Catholic Prep in Buckeystown, MD, where he managed shadow visits, campus tours, and overall recruitment efforts. In addition to his administrative role, Christian has been the Head Coach of Cross Country and Track and Field at Saint John鈥檚 since 2020.

Sonia Bowie serves as 91视频专区 College's Doctoral Program Assistant. She came to America at a young age and has thrived - earning a B.A., from the University of Maryland College Park,  M.S., from the University of Maryland University College and received Executive Certificates from both Georgetown University and Cornell University. She has held leadership positions with nonprofit associations and remains an active volunteer as a mentor with organizations that enable young women to pursue their academic ambitions.

Autumn grew up in Montgomery County and earned an individualized Bachelor of Arts from Goddard College in Plainfield, Vermont. Autumn is enrolled in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at 91视频专区 and is the incoming Graduate Student Success Coordinator. In this position, Autumn will work to ensure that all graduate students have the resources they need to successfully complete their degree. In her free time, Autumn enjoys playing the banjo, sailing, and spending time in nature.

Sam serves as the President of the Graduate Student Association (GSA) while pursuing an MBA at 91视频专区 College. Originally from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Sam is known for being friendly and a good listener. Sam competed in the men鈥檚 soccer team during his undergraduate studies at 91视频专区, where he earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Biochemistry. In his spare time, Sam enjoys volunteering, playing pick-up soccer, and spending time with his dogs, Charlie and Cooper.

Prashanthi Akuthota serves as the graduate administrative assistant at The Graduate School. With a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the AVN Institute of Technology in India, she brings previous experience as an Automation Tester at Brand Width Technologies. Tamsyn Evezard serves as the Graduate Assistant for International Student Services at 91视频专区 College Graduate School. She is currently pursuing a master鈥檚 degree in computer science at 91视频专区 College after earning her bachelor鈥檚 degree in computer science from Concordia University Irvine in California. Tamsyn has represented her home country, South Africa, as a member of the Women鈥檚 National Water Polo Team and competed at the NCAA level during her undergraduate studies. Outside of her technical pursuits, Tamsyn is passionate about music, which inspires her creativity. Driven by a growth mindset, curiosity, and dedication to exceeding expectations, Tamsyn applies these values to every aspect of her work and life.

Mariana Latorre

Mariana Latorre is originally from Colombia, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology. She possesses expertise in working with prisoners on topics related to trauma, emotional intelligence, self-care, and social skills. At Universidad El Bosque, she was a professor of penitentiary psychology prior to studying in the United States. Mariana is now a graduate assistant at the Graduate School and serves as the host of "A Degree Further" the official podcast of The Graduate School at 91视频专区 College. Currently, she is pursuing her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MA) at 91视频专区 College. Mariana has a deep-seated passion for equality and social justice issues.

Ashish, a graduate of London Metropolitan University is originally from Nepal. He holds a bachelor's degree in multimedia technologies, brings extensive experience in marketing, content creation, photography, and videography. Currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at 91视频专区 College with a concentration in Marketing, Ashish combines strategic insight with creative expertise to effectively engage with the academic community.

 

Hillary

Hillary, a New York native, is a Graduate Assistant and MS Cybersecurity student at 91视频专区 College. With a BA in Anthropology from Stony Brook University and studies at Kenya's Turkana Basin Institute, she brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective. Active in campus life, she performed with The Diamond Wolfettes and engaged in diversity initiatives through the African Student Union and Korean Students Association. Skilled in writing, social media management, and community engagement, Hillary highlights 91视频专区's vibrant community. Outside academia, she's a passionate baker and writer, driven by creativity, compassion, and a strong sense of community.
